Rosemary King
Rosemary Venitia King (née Oakwell; previously Sinclair) is a fictional character in the British ITV soap opera ''Emmerdale''. She was played by Linda Thorson. She made her last appearance on the show on 13 September 2007.
==Character's background==
Rosemary first appeared in early 2006. She is the mother of Alasdair and Grayson Sinclair, and her family was very wealthy. The last member of the Sinclair family to be introduced, she disapproved of Alasdair's fiancée Sadie King.
Rosemary was born of Oakwell family which had been aristocrats of Emmerdale for long time but they were cash-poor and when Rosemary married Raymond Sinclair she became a millionairess by the marriage. One of her nephews was Lord Alex Oakwell, who had previously appeared in the show a decade before, from 1997-1998.
